On Friday, a 32-year-old woman named Mandy K was attacked by a polar bear at the Berlin Zoo after she entered their enclosure during feeding time. She climbed over a fence, a line of hedges, and a wall to gain access. Before rescuers could reach her, she sustained multiple bites.
A woman sustained injuries to her arms, legs, and back after leaping over the bars during feeding time at the Berlin Zoo. Despite the efforts of six zookeepers to distract the four bears, one bear persistently bit her on the arms and legs. The zookeepers eventually managed to scare the bear away and rescue the woman.
A 32-year-old woman is currently recovering in the hospital following surgery to repair her wounds. It was later revealed that she is a teacher who had become deeply despondent over her inability to secure a job.
