ABC’s *The View* has garnered a reputation for its heated discussions and sharp remarks. Critics argue that the hosts often prioritize their personal political agendas over fostering constructive dialogues. While the show attempts to attract viewers with provocative comments and arguments, its future remains uncertain, especially as Disney considers divesting from the underperforming channel.
In a recent interview on Bravo’s *Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen*, pop culture icon Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi made headlines with her candid comments about Joy Behar, one of the co-hosts of *The View*. When asked about her interactions with various celebrities, Snooki didn’t hold back her opinions on Behar, surprising Cohen with her directness.
Snooki revealed that Joy Behar was the “rudest celebrity” she has encountered since rising to fame on “Jersey Shore” over the past 14 years.
Andy Cohen appeared surprised and asked Snooki again if Behar had indeed been rude to her.
“Joy was so mean to me,” the MTV star responded without hesitation.
Curious to learn more, Cohen pressed further. “She cornered me in the bathroom!” Snooki alleged, adding, “And said, ‘You’re not Italian!’”
The host immediately gasped, prompting Snooki, 35, to double down on the claim.
Cohen then asked how the “Messyness” co-host responded during the alleged interaction. Snooki replied, “I said, ‘OK, ma’am.’”
Snooki did not specify when her rude encounter with Behar happened, but in early 2011, she posted a video mocking The View star. The now-deleted clip, captured by TMZ, featured Snooki and her best friend Farley pretending to be older Jewish women. In the video, Snooki played a character named “Joy B” and criticized Snooki’s persona, calling her “trashy.”
The clip showed the duo referring to Behar as an “Italian wannabe” and mocking her for despising the “Jersey Shore” cast, claiming that kids like them ruined her childhood during “the Great Depression.”
The video was later taken down because, as Snooki explained, people took it too seriously.
